Privacy policy

What data the site keeps, what for, on what legal basis, for how long and how to exercise your rights.

Reviewed

This policy applies to the website gamearchitectsai.com. The data controller is Daniel Novi, author of the site, based in Brazil. It follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018, the LGPD) and, for people in the European Union and the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To contact the controller about your data, use the contact page (link below).

The analytics do not store your IP address: to count unique visitors, we use a scrambled code that changes every day and does not tell us who you are. The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser keeps a few preferences only on your device (the language, the action plan checked off in an article, your position in the audio).

Who processes the data

The data is processed by the services the site needs to run, acting on our behalf: website hosting (Vercel), the database for analytics and lists (Upstash) and email delivery (Resend). We do not sell data or share it with anyone else.

International transfers

The site is run from Brazil, and these providers may process data in the United States and other countries. When the GDPR applies, transfers outside the European Economic Area rely on the safeguards offered by these providers in their data processing terms, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

For how long

The analytics are daily totals (not per person) and are kept for up to 800 days, so we can compare one year with the next. Waitlist, newsletter and contact data are kept until you ask to leave or to have them deleted, or until the purpose ends.

Your rights

You can ask, at any time and free of charge, to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent, without affecting what was done before. Every newsletter email has a link to unsubscribe with one click. For other requests, write to us through the contact page; we answer within one month. If you are in the European Union, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

No decisions about you are made by automated means, and providing your data is voluntary: without it, we just cannot send you the notice or the newsletter.
